I’ve been a user of Netflix for years. But when they announced they were raising their monthly price $2, I decided to cancel. Combine that with switching from Dish Network to DirectTV and picking up all the Movie Channels and a DirecTV with TIVO, and upgrading it to 107 hours of recording, I’ve had more movies recorded that I haven’t watched yet.
All this added up to my 3 netflix DVD’s sitting for over a month. One of them actually was so old that it was on HBO and TIVO recorded it. That was enough for me to realize that I was flushing $19.99 a month down the tubes and with the $2 price increase, why flush more money down?
